You can learn more about my art practice here.
‘One of my earliest memories is being in the pram, looking up at the leaves above me, astounded by their structure, movement and beauty.
At 3 years old I was found cutting an umbrella into the shape of a dress.
At 4 I requested my parents bake an antler in the oven for me.’
My practice is deeply rooted in reverence for materials that embraces sustainability and minimizes waste. This philosophy informs not only my jewelry design but extends to my work in sustainable fashion. Each design reflects a conscious consideration of material lifecycle and modular principles.
‘Carry less, create more – any way, shape or form’.
My first dress was an umbrella.
Originally from Prague, I am a Designer and Artist whose practice is informed by design anthropology—merging traditional knowledge with contemporary frameworks to create transformative, participatory experiences. I hold degrees in Education, Fashion Design, Theatre Set and Costume Design, and Visual Arts (with High Distinction).
My work is marked by a strong, symbolic aesthetic that merges form with function, creating and sharing culturally informed design solutions for broader audience impact.
The merging of European classic influences with the ancient and rugged landscapes of Australia forms the foundation of my practice. I create wearable experiences, installations, and objects to communicate and connect with people, places and art forms, opening meaningful dialogue.
I believe objects—touch—body—experience and visual storytelling can transcend languages.
